Website Manager | The Greenbrier Companies (2007 – 2011)
Initially, I provided website maintenance, reported on all website analytics and provided website recommendations. In 2010, a new website was created, www.gbrx.com. I coordinated vendors, negotiated contracts and monitored cost to ensure efficiency, including copy writers, photographers, cinematographers, web designers, web developers, and third-party investor relations provider, Thomas Reuters. After the successful launch of the website, I continued to monitor and report on site analytics, implemented SEO improvements, and supervised website content and maintenance.
Website Manager | Group Mackenzie (2002 – 2006)
Initially, I managed the website strategy development, reported on all site analytics, made recommendations, and supervised website content and maintenance. In 2006, a new website was developed and remains in place today, www.groupmackenzie.com. As the project manager for the website development, I worked closely with the web designers and developers to create the site architecture and navigation. Myself and the marketing communications team created fresh content and coordinated new images.
Website Content Manager | Dull Olson Weekes Architects (DOWA) 1998 – 2002
I was actively involved in the development of the firm’s first website. The first website was fully built-in Flash, which was later determined not to be the best option for the firm. The website was then rebuilt in html with a few flash elements. My role was to provide all content and graphics for the website, maintain the website and manage content to ensure the site was current and relevant. The current website has been redesigned.
Website Manager | Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) 1997 – 2004
As a member and later as the Director of the Communications Committee, I had an active role in the development of the first SMPS website. Excited to learn all I could about websites, Dreamweaver, html and website development, I volunteered to be the webmaster for the site and continued as the primary webmaster for the next five years. The current website has been redesigned.
